Strategy Division / Combat Plans Division Functional Scenario Developer

R&K provides project management and subject matter expertise support to the Air Operations Center (AOC) Command and Control Weapons System Part Task Trainer (C2WSPTT) Training Support Program. The task order also provides innovative techniques and expertise to develop customer specific air, space, and cyber “fly out” replication and scenario development in support of training and exercises. Primary training and exercise audience is intra and inter divisional-level training for the 5 AOC Divisions (Combat Operations, Combat Plans, Strategy, Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Division and Air Mobility Division).

The R&K Team is seeking a full-time Combat Plans Functional Scenario Developer.

Title: Strategy Division/Combat Plans Division Functional Scenario Developer

Location: Hurlburt Field, FL

Duration: Permanent/Full-Time

Clearance: Top Secret and NATO Secret Eligibility

Start Date: Upon Approval

Duties: The successful candidate shall perform the following duties:

  • Develop and maintain C2WSPTT software file and programming products reflecting Combatant Commander’s Guidance, Combined/Joint Forces Air Component Commander’s Guidance, JIPTL and Rules of Engagement for Supplemental ROE and Intelligence Target Folders (daily).
  • Develop training scenario documents in support of AOC MQT/CT as they pertain to Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) to include: Combatant Commander’s Guidance, Area Air Defense Commander’s (AADC) Guidance, and Area Air Defense Plan (AADP), and Air Defense Rules of Engagement.
  • Conduct reviews of authoritative USAF Instructions (UI), Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures and Joint Doctrine Publications to ensure training software file and programming update products support and comply with current Joint and Air Force Doctrine (weekly).
  • Develop C2WSPTT databases and applicable software files in order to stimulate the production of a daily ABP/ATO/ACO (daily).
  • Coordinate with appropriate AOC training managers to ensure MQT/CT products are tailored to meet applicable training requirements and provide on-site assistance to support scenario execution.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of AODs, Air Tasking Orders, and other operationally oriented software file and programming update products to support the teams and cells assigned to a typical AOC Current Operations Division daily.

Requirements: The candidate shall meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 5 years’ military operational and training. A minimum of four (4) years AOC specific experience in one or more of the following teams: Strategy Guidance, Strategy Plans, MAAP, Targeting Effects, C2 Plans. Experience in Missile Defense planning is required.
  • Minimum of four (4) years’ experience with IBM PC hardware, Windows XP operating system, TBMCS, MAAP Toolkit, TAP, FALCON VIEW, JTT, Microsoft Project and C2WSPTT software.

Special Requirements:

  • Must possess an active TS Security Clearance.
  • Duties may require travel within the organizational geographic area of responsibility.
  • Employees are subject to shift work, non-standard work schedules, on-call, extended days and weekend work.
  • Some Travel (less than 25%)
